Turbo sees Theo (played by Ryan Reynolds), a garden snail, transformed into a turbo-charged racing snail after ingesting nitrous oxide. An entertaining movie that will be enjoyed by young children and the young at heart, the animation in Turbo is flawless and the scenes are very realistic looking, thanks to Dreamworks’ experienced team.
Samuel L Jackson is entertaining as Whiplash and the self-loving racing champion Guy Gagné is played to perfection by Bill Hader. Turbo is not the best animated movie of all time but is certainly good entertainment and has enough thrills and laughs to make it enjoyable.
