The Cock Hemingford Grey Review – Cambridge Restaurant Reviews

Located just outside of St Ives, The Cock at Hemingford Grey is a cosy restaurant and pub experience in relaxing unpretentious surroundings.  The menu is fairly traditional and seasonal, with main menu dishes ranging from sausages, duck, lamb and pork. However, mention must be made of the seafood specials which is a big focus of the restaurant.

If you want to think of The Cock as a pub then it is a very upmarket one, with a fire and a garden to enjoy.  A selection of local beers and an extensive wine list are available; They have four real ales and a wine list focused on the Languedoc–Roussillon area of France.  The Cock at Hemingford Grey is owned by the Cambs Cuisine Group that also looks after the Tickell Arms Whittlesford and the Cambridge Chop House.

The Cock has its own car park but this is not large enough for a full house.  Thankfully you should be able to find street parking fairly nearby within walking distance.
